Business Project Coordinator
Working as a full-time Business Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting project managers in coordinating project activities including communicating with team members, stakeholders, and IT resources, scheduling meetings and ensuring project deadlines are met in a timely manner on complex organizational projects and initiatives. This role will also be responsible for coordinating on smaller efficiency-based projects directly with business stakeholders.
This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training and meeting performance goals.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Organizing, attending and participating in project meetings and stakeholder meetings
- Coordinating and managing project tasks and deliverables and tracking progress
- Assisting with preparing necessary presentation materials and reports for stakeholders
- Providing administrative support as needed and managing project related paperwork and automations
- Executing on project communications plans including status updates, changes, or issues that may arise
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, and related items
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess or working towards a degree or in business management, communications, business administration or other business degree, OR possess a project management certification, OR has 1 year of related experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to motivate others
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
- Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution. The base pay range for this position is $40,000 - 45,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
