Substitute Paraprofessionals - All ProgramsHiawatha Valley Education District is seeking on-call Substitute Paraprofessionals for all of our programs.
ParaprofessionalJob Summary
- Assisting teachers in their teaching duties and other general responsibilities
- Adapts classroom activities, assignments and/or material under the direction of the supervising teacher
- Monitors special education students for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment
- Must meet highly qualified criteria:
Associate’s Degree or higher, or meet Minnesota Certified Para Pro Assessment - Experience working with students/children preferred
- Office, lifting, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, keyboarding, etc.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
