Under the direction of the Director of Learning and Teaching and guidance of the Media Coordinator, the Secretary facilitates students' education and supports curriculum by assisting in the operation of the media center. Assists students and staff with technology and media needs, including materials and equipment. Supervises various student activities. Catalogs, processes and maintains both print and non-print materials. While an employee in this position may provide assistance they are not responsible for student instruction.
QualificationsQualified candidates must be technology literate and be able to learn changing technology quickly. Must possess good word processing and data entry skills. Must be patient, friendly, polite, and be able to stay on task. Must be flexible and be able to adapt well to change. Must be detail oriented and able to work quickly and efficiently, while under pressure in a hectic environment.
Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with little or no direction.
