Position Overview

The City of Winona has an open position in both the water and wastewater divisions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the water treatment and distribution system, including pumps, wells, chemical feed system, meters, gauges, and SCADA system.
  • Collect, test, and record data from water samples to conform to state rules and regulations.
  • Perform general maintenance duties for the plant.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent training.
  • At least three years of municipal experience.
  • Class B CDL and Class C Operator license.
  • Type 4 Operator license for land application of biosolids (wastewater only).
  • Special Low Pressure Boiler’s license (wastewater only).
  • The City will provide resources to help obtain licensure.
