Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and be eager to contribute to the testing and debugging of assemblies. This role involves working closely with leadership and Test Engineers to ensure efficient processes and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

+ Perform debugging and testing of assemblies to the component level using block diagrams and schematics.

+ Maintain and upkeep testing equipment.

+ Troubleshoot operator issues, collaborate with leadership on training, and recommend process improvements.

+ Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.

+ Communicate issues to Test Engineers or leadership.

+ Assist in conducting experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.

+ Recommend additional equipment needs for product debug areas to leadership or Test Engineers.

+ Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.

+ Comply with all company security policies and procedures.

+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

+ Work on problems of limited scope by following standard practices and procedures, building stable internal relationships.

+ Learn and apply professional concepts, company policies, and procedures to resolve routine issues.

+ Receive detailed instructions on all work.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in soldering and assembly of electrical components.

+ Understanding of electrical engineering principles.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.

+

Experience with PCB testing and design.

+ Familiarity with using oscilloscopes and test equipment.

+ Minimum of 1 year experience soldering on PCBs.

+ Minimum of 1 year experience testing PCBs.

+ Possession of an AAS or BSEE with an interest in technical work.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience with soldering and testing electronics.

+ Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site in a manufacturing setting located in Winona. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, ensuring that all team members have the resources they need to succeed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Winona, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.10/hr.
