Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and be eager to contribute to the testing and debugging of assemblies. This role involves working closely with leadership and Test Engineers to ensure efficient processes and high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform debugging and testing of assemblies to the component level using block diagrams and schematics.
- Maintain and upkeep testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot operator issues, collaborate with leadership on training, and recommend process improvements.
- Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.
- Communicate issues to Test Engineers or leadership.
- Assist in conducting experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
- Recommend additional equipment needs for product debug areas to leadership or Test Engineers.
- Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
- Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Work on problems of limited scope by following standard practices and procedures, building stable internal relationships.
- Learn and apply professional concepts, company policies, and procedures to resolve routine issues.
- Receive detailed instructions on all work.
- Proficiency in soldering and assembly of electrical components.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience with PCB testing and design.
- Familiarity with using oscilloscopes and test equipment.
- Minimum of 1 year experience soldering on PCBs.
- Minimum of 1 year experience testing PCBs.
- Possession of an AAS or BSEE with an interest in technical work.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with soldering and testing electronics.
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
This position is based on-site in a manufacturing setting located in Winona. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, ensuring that all team members have the resources they need to succeed.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Winona, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.10/hr.
