Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a travel job in Winona, Minnesota.

Certifications:

BLS, Graduate of any accredited surgical technologist program (must be certified). NBSTSA- CST.

- Common Cases:
General surgery, orthopedic/sports medicine, plastics and cosmetics, podiatry, cataracts/Eye Procedures, OB/GYN/Women's Health (non-cancer related).

Prefer someone comfortable transitioning between scrubbing and assisting.

- Experience or 'Must have' skills:
Must have 3 years of CST experience.

Must have General and Ortho- specifically total joints.

Prefer Plastics experience.

Must have experience in similar size facilities Trauma Level 3 & 4, &/or Critically Access Hospitals.

Scrub for the OR
- Shifts & Scheduling: 5- 8 Hr Shifts/Wk, , late stay rotations and on-call rotations, block scheduling;
Scheduling is done by the manager, travelers are asked to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling.
