Hours:

36. 0.9 FTE, 72 hours bi‑weekly Monday – Friday, Day Shifts (no weekends or holidays).

Location:

Winona (home base) with travel to La Crosse and Onalaska based on department need. Mileage is reimbursed. Initial training will take place in La Crosse and Onalaska.

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE by greeting patients warmly and setting the tone for appointments.
• Update patient information in charting systems.
• Take vitals.
• Expand skills as a Medical Assistant in unique ways not typically available in other departments.
• Get hands‑on experience working on procedures with nurses and providers.
• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers to support patient care.

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program, or completed education eligible for NCLEX‑PN.
• High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS certification for healthcare workers.
• Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.

• Starting pay of $21.34/hour + more for experience.
