Production Team Lead – 2nd Shift Monday – Thursday

Job Summary:
The Production Team Lead is essential to the manufacturing and packaging of high‑quality fan merchandise. The Team Lead completes assignments related to all aspects of production, including manual and automated work centers. The role may require operating various machinery, adjusting settings/speed, or basic troubleshooting.

The Team Lead must take responsibility for safety, quality, and timely execution of production operations. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day support and training of Production Specialists and Machine Operators, applying supervisory support on complex projects or corrective actions. The position is physically demanding and requires sustained moderate activity during the shift, including crouching, climbing, lifting, and carrying. Production Team Leads may be assigned to varying work centers and must be prepared to report to secondary locations as directed.

  • Deploy department direction through Warehouse athletes to accomplish day‑to‑day objectives, delegating assignments to maximize each athlete’s skillset.
  • Keep Leadership informed on all personnel issues, safety violations or accidents.
  • Provide training and support for new or visiting athletes.
  • Communicate issues and propose solutions to Warehouse athletes, other Leads, and Leadership.
  • Complete general production duties, including FMS utilization, material coordination, use of manual, automated and digital tools, and correctly label and package products per customer specification.
  • Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance (cleaning, oiling) on equipment.
  • Set up equipment (adjust settings, change needles, basic disassembly/reassembly).
  • Complete general housekeeping and department Six Sigma activities.
  • Adhere to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
  • Treat others with respect and conduct oneself in a positive and inclusive manner daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational & Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 12 months general production or machine operation experience
General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Close attention to detail
  • Understand written instruction
  • Proficient data entry skills and software applications including Microsoft Suite, Infor Powerlink/FMS, and the ability to learn new software programs as needed.
  • Mechanical knowledge sufficient to make equipment adjustments using hand tools.
  • Basic technology application / computer aptitude
  • Good hand dexterity and hand‑eye coordination
  • Perform repetitive machine operation tasks
  • Read shop packets and follow instruction
  • Count accurately, complete accurate measurements, and mathematical computations
  • Inspect materials and finished products for defects
  • Learn and apply accurate PMS Color matching knowledge
  • Maintain current certifications:
    • Bloodborne Pathogens
    • PIT

The compensation rate is $19.50/hour which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
