Overview

Part-time Industrial Services Light Manufacturing Fabricator.

Location:

1858 Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987.

Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm. Up to 28 hours/week.

• Inspecting and manufacturing overhead lifting chain slings, hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, and custom wire cable assemblies
• Cutting chain, cable, and threaded rod
• Using calibrated equipment to measure specific jobs (micrometer, caliper, tape measure, etc)
• Using saws, chain cutters, and crimpers to complete specific jobs
• Packaging light manufacturing jobs for shipment to our branch locations
• Following all International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality procedures
• Communicating with Fastenal branches and vendors

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Mechanically inclined
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

• Knowledge of print reading
• Prior warehouse and forklift experience
• Knowledge of calibrated measuring equipment

The base pay range for this position is $15/hr - $25/hr in addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
