The Press Operator is an essential member of the team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.
Compensation& Benefits
- Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 hourly DOE
- Shifts Available: 3rd

- Paid Holidays:
New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating holidays
- Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines
- Report all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignments
- Complete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used
- Complete all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks
- Complete all press-side quality checks
- Operate press to produce product in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency
- Maintain consistent quality during the production run
- Conduct critical quality checks including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion
- Ensure conformance to all other quality checks
- Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard
- Complete press make-ready in an efficient manner
- Complete all required equipment maintenance duties
- Clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricate press as needed
- Input all required information into the Radius system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training is a plus (not required)
- Physical demands: standing, using hands to feel and touch, reaching with arms and hands, talking and hearing
- Requires frequent walking
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
