Manufacturing Technician II

Salary: $24.260 - $30.330 USD per hour
Summary: The Manufacturing Technician provides and supports manufacturing equipment, materials and processes to production to ensure products are assembled efficiently, meeting customer quality and on‑time delivery specifications.
Responsibilities- Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing product
- Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators
- Troubleshoots operator problems, works with leadership on training and process improvements
- Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leaders
- Assists in testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes
- Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis
- Recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for product debug areas
- Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities
- Complies with all company security policies and procedures
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Works on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of situations or data across a variety of factors, exercising judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action
- Builds productive internal/external working relationships
- Develops professional expertise, applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
- Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
- 5+ years of experience with ability to effectively train diverse groups
- Good analytical skills, ability to assimilate a wide range of data and form
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective interpersonal, multitasking, organization and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated high attention to detail
- Ability to work with diverse groups
- Discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment
- Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools
- Strong customer service and client focus
- Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and Web Ex conferencing software
- 2‑year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
