Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers Retread Maintenance Technician

Starting Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 Hourly Pay + OT. Benefits begin on Day 31.

Working Hours:

8‑hour shift, flexible start times beginning at 12:00 AM.

Location:

5110 W Service Dr, Winona, MN (Electrical, Equipment, Mechanical Welding & Air Systems).

• Repair out of service or improperly working equipment in a timely manner to limit downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment following a scheduled routine.
• Maintain and operate the plant steam, air, and hydraulic systems safely and efficiently.
• Install new equipment.
• Comply with all safety and liability guidelines and policies.
• Use protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting of commercial tires and wheels, and work involving standing, bending, and squatting.

• 3 years of previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting or completion of a 2‑year vocational school in industrial maintenance.
• Prior electrical and electronic troubleshooting experience – ability to work with 24 VDC to 500 VAC.
• Prior pipe fitting experience.
• Prior compressor and hydraulic experience.
• No relocation will be offered for this position.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous retread manufacturing experience.

• Ability to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced environment as part of a team.
• Self‑starter willing to take initiative, work independently, and attend appropriate training sessions.
