Operator Continuous Galvanizer Class

The role includes operating the automatic Galvanizer, maintaining solutions, replenishing Zinc levels, skimming kettles, replenishing the Flux layer, continuously checking processed chain to ensure high quality, recording necessary information on production forms, and using hand and power tools for mechanical maintenance. Responsibilities also include performing single link kettle chain repairs and preventive mechanical maintenance such as drossing on galvanizing cleaning equipment, tanks, chemical contents, and related devices.

• Operate the automatic Galvanizer and maintain solutions as required.
• Replenish Zinc levels, skim kettles, and replenish the Flux layer.
• Continuously check processed chain to ensure high quality.
• Record necessary information on production forms.
• Use hand and power tools for mechanical maintenance.
• Perform single link kettle chain repairs.
• Perform preventive and mechanical maintenance (e.g., drossing) on galvanizing cleaning equipment, tanks, chemical contents and related devices.

• Abide by safety policies, operator preventive maintenance and housekeeping practices.
• Ensure the quality specifications of the product.
• Accurately complete process and quality documentation.
