The Coach trains coworkers and monitors progress against defined training plans while performing production work to maintain required skill sets.

• Monitors, tracks, and schedules training with new coworkers.
• Completes training checklists, including recertifications.
• Reviews training progress with trainees and provides weekly feedback; adjusts plans as needed.
• Provides documented training status updates to the production supervisor on a weekly basis.
• Reviews documentation in PFS for accuracy, quality compliance, and updates.
• Works with supervisors and engineers to continuously improve the quality of the production training process.
• Inspects trainee work and samples based on competency, reducing sampling as proficiency grows.
• Cross‑trains coworkers in various manufacturing operations to meet production goals.
• Performs operator duties defined in the job description when not training.
• Leads by example, supporting Benchmark Core Values, policy, and objectives.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in a coaching or training role for entry‑to‑mid‑level production positions.
• Completion of the BEI “Train the Trainer” class.
• Possession of a Coach Certification Checklist (or equivalent certification).
• Proficient in reading, understanding, and training others on process instructions, schematic drawings, and manufacturing routings.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent multitasking, organization, and prioritization abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism.
• Understanding and use of continuous improvement tools.
• Strong customer service orientation and client focus.
• Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and Web Ex.
• Ability to work overtime and support a 24/7 global operation, including shift and site flexibility.
• Capability to cross‑train in secondary areas as needed.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work in a safety‑sensitive environment (including drug screening requirements).

This is a safety‑sensitive position. Pre‑employment drug screening (including THC testing) will be required where permitted by law.

Winona, MN – West (4245). Shift: Shift 2 – Monday to Thursday, 15:50 to 01:35.

Salary range: $17.83 to $23.74 USD per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
