We're hiring a hands-on CNC Production Team Lead to lead a small machining team while actively working on the shop floor. This is a working lead role focused on production, quality, and team support.
Responsibilities- Lead and support daily CNC machining operations
- Coordinate work assignments and priorities
- Run shift kickoff meetings
- Train and mentor team members
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues
- Set up, program (conversational), and operate CNC turning equipment
- Perform tooling changes, offsets, and inspections
- Read blueprints and GD&T
- Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools
- Support continuous improvement, safety, and ISO standards
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience (turning preferred)
- Strong setup, programming, and troubleshooting skills
- Blueprint and GD&T reading experience
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
