RN, Operating Room Nurse, Surgical Assistant

Job Description

This RN circulating role in the Operating Room offers a chance to work in a diverse, rural community hospital setting performing a range of procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, and endoscopy. You will be responsible for circulating during surgeries, scrubbing when needed, and supporting OR staff across multiple cases with varied complexities. The schedule comprises 8-hour shifts, with opportunities for late stays, on-call rotations, and weekend shifts, providing a well-rounded experience in surgical nursing.

This assignment is perfect for a seasoned RN with at least three years of OR experience, particularly in total joints, practicing comfortably in a variety of case types and facility sizes. Flexibility and teamwork are key as schedule gaps are sometimes filled to ensure smooth operations across the perioperative suite.
