Contract Director Of Nursing (Skilled Nursing)
Contract Director of Nursing (Skilled Nursing) leading a long-term care unit in Winona, Minnesota for a 26-week assignment. This role delivers clinical leadership, quality improvement, and compliance oversight to enhance resident care and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and oversight for the long-term care unit, ensuring high standards of patient care and staff performance.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment and professional growth.
- Execute quality assurance initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Valid Minnesota RN license
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of geriatric nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a long-term care facility
- Ability to work flexible 8-hour days
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Clinical proficiency in long-term care nursing
