Position Summary

This role is responsible for rotating, facing, and replenishing merchandise, monitoring department cleanliness, product quality, and quantity, and providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service.
Night & Weekend shifts required.
Reporting RelationsAccountable to District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Health, Wellness, Home, Store Operations, and Perishables, Fashion/Beauty/Basin Director, and Basin Department Manager. No positions report to this role.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service including greeting customers, learning and using their names, and assisting with locating products, lifting heavy items, and addressing customer requests.
- Answer telephone calls promptly and provide helpful service.
- Work with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
- Rotate, face, and replenish merchandise, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Review department status for cleanliness, product quality, and quantity.
- Check in products, put away items, and review invoices.
- Assist with inventory as requested.
- Maintain displays in the department and throughout the store.
- Order product when asked by supervisor.
- Adhere to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
- Follow company policies and individual store guidelines.
- Report to work on time when scheduled.
- Build displays as needed.
- Assist in other areas of the store as required.
- Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as requested.
- Follow written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations.
- Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
- Write identifying information for supply requests orally or in writing.
Less than high school education and 6 months to 1 year of similar or related experience.
Physical Requirements- Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; up to 20 pounds frequently; and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Visual requirements: clarity of vision at a distance of 20 inches or less, depth perception, and color vision.
- Perform activities such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Continual exposure to dust, noise, and a fast‑paced environment with significant pressure.
- Ladder, C.A.R.S. ordering system, computer, register system, box cutter, scissors, hammer, screwdriver, and produce cart.

CompensationHourly starting wage $12.00 to $15.00 depending on experience.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.
