Job Requirements- Minimum Experience:
1 Year Industrial Painting Experience - Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to pass Workwell test and meet minimum lifting requirements
- Must possess a current driver s license with acceptable driving record
- Be familiar with or have the ability to follow US Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 and OSHA Safety Regulations
completion of the following work items as consistent with industry practices:
- Abrasive blasting operations
- Paint preparation work
- Application of USACE Vinyl and Industrial Coatings via Spray Application, Brush Application, & Roller Application
- Abrasive / debris recovery operations
- Mobilizing, setting up for abrasive blasting, painting and recovery operations
- Prepping the gates for painting operations, including, but not limited to, protection or removal of components not to be painted
- Installation, maintenance and removal of containment structure
- Installation, maintenance and removal of ambient condition control components and equipment
- Installation of scaffolding to be used for painting operations / containment / ambient condition control
- Personnel performing duties to support surface preparation, painting and debris removal operations
- The operation and maintenance of all equipment used for surface preparation, painting, debris removal and support operations

Summary of PositionPainter/Sandblaster for a Dam gate refurbishment project performed seasonally between April 1st to November 30th in 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027
Qualifications- Must be able to work in team environment
- Has proficiency or will develop proficiency in Construction Safety including but not limited to OSHA 1926 & 1910 and EM 385 1-1.
- Has the ability to adapt to changes quickly
- Strong communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Experience spraying conventional and airless
- Abrasive Blasting Experience
- Experience using fall protection
- AMPP/SSPC Certifications are a plus, i.e., C7, C12, C14, CAS
- Ability to obtain badging for access to military installations a plus, although not required
- Flexibility in working hours, and ability and willingness to work extended hours
- Able to work at heights
- Hourly Rate and Fringe Based on Prevailing/Davis-Bacon Wage Rates ($25.00 base + $12.45 fringe)
