Field Service Machine Technician - Printing

Under the Equipment Engineer Technician role, you will support the installation, relocation, repair and maintenance of primary printing/converting equipment across the business unit of MCC. This position requires both mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance expertise.

• Travel to all 29 company sites to conduct services, following a schedule of 8 consecutive working days, travel home on the 10th day, and off Thursday through Sunday before returning to the next job Monday.
• Remove and relocate machinery as needed.
• Work with local plant associates to improve local skills and capabilities.
• Interact with vendors and internal associates to order materials, parts, and arrange services.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate a forklift when required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, stooping, bending, and kneeling for prolonged periods.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in machine maintenance & field service.
• Experience with printing (litho, flexo, digital) and finishing (cutters) machinery is preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on feet for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to travel, including air travel, as required.

• Employees are expected to supply their own hand tools; specialty tools are supplied by MCC.
• MCC covers shipping costs to transport tools between job sites.
• Travel is expected to be approximately 10 out of 14 days, with home time every other Thursday to Sunday.
