ResponsibilitiesThis position is the clinical staff and will be expected to consult with peers when needed.
Provide academic, financial aid and career advising to TRIO-eligible students. Assess student eligibility for the TRIO Student Ability Services program. Conduct needs assessments and develop individual support plans for qualified students. Collect and analyze data for use in writing the grant proposal and annual performance reports and for use in evaluating program outcomes and future program needs.
Document all activities and participate in developing both department year-end reports and the TRIO Annual Performance Report. Participate in professional development activities such as conferences and workshops.
- Current pursuit of independent state license through supervision within board-specified required timeframe
- Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and public speaking.
- Effective organizational and administrative skills.
- Timeliness and attention to detail in work functions.
- Must pass a Psychotherapist check per Minnesota Statutes Chapter 604.20 prior to hire.
- Must also pass a Criminal History Records check pursuant to MN Statute 299C.60-64.
- Internship in higher education counseling
