Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available at an educational setting in Winooski, VT, on a contractual basis. This role focuses on supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels through psychological assessments, interventions, and consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students to identify learning and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Assist in developing school-wide programs that promote mental health and positive behavior
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist
  • Experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
