Part‑Time Faculty
Every year the Community College of Vermont employs hundreds of part‑time faculty to teach courses at 12 locations statewide and online.
- Faculty can teach one to three courses each semester.
- Teaching opportunities arise throughout the year and qualified candidates are placed in a candidate pool and contacted as openings occur.
- Anthropology
- Criminal Justice
- Early Childhood Education
- Geography
- History
- Interdisciplinary Studies
- Legal Studies
- Political Science
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Social Work
- Substance Use Disorders
- Master’s degree required.
- Schedule:
part‑time, teaching up to three courses per semester. - Budgeted wage: $4,365 per 3‑credit course.
- Exempt status:
Exempt Grade P01.
