Preci Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist to support our production operations. This role is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce accurate, high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone with machining experience who takes pride in quality work, attention to detail, and maintaining safe and efficient operations.

• Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts to specification
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machines to maintain quality and performance
• Make machine adjustments as needed during production runs
• Perform in‑process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and process sheets
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance
• Maintain accurate production records, part counts, and documentation
• Work with team members to improve efficiency, workflow, and quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

On‑site in Winooski, VT

• Prior experience operating CNC lathes or similar machining equipment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong basic math skills for measurement and calculations
• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues

$18 - $30 per hour
