• Provide basic nursing care to students, including first aid and illness/injury assessment as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform routine health procedures per policy and physician orders.
• Monitor student health concerns, document care in health records, and communicate with school staff and families as appropriate.
• Triage health emergencies, provide stable first aid, and coordinate with the school nurse as needed.
• Support students with chronic conditions through adherence to individual health plans and health policy compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with state and district health regulations.

• Active LPN license in Vermont or eligibility to practice in Vermont at start of assignment.
• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Ability to work evening and night shifts and adapt to a school health schedule.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff.
• Willingness to travel for temporary assignment and comply with school health policies.
• Prior experience in pediatric care or school health settings is preferred but not required.
