Shifts:
Long day shifts and sleep-in shifts Mixture of both on a rota basis No waking night shifts
Key Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and structured residential environment Support individual care, placement, and behaviour support plans Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people Support emotional, behavioural, and social development Maintain accurate daily records, reports, and handovers Work closely with colleagues, managers, and external professionals Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times What We’re Looking For Proven experience working in children’s residential settings Confidence supporting young people with complex needs and behaviours Ability to work full-time on a rota including long days and sleep-ins Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices Calm, resilient, and reflective approach to care Right to work in the UK and enhanced DBS clearance
