Job SummaryThe Peer Support Specialist (PSS) assigned to PCMH/OTP Community‑Based Services will provide one‑on‑one support to members, address day‑to‑day problem‑solving, and facilitate normalization and reintegration into the community. The PSS utilizes assertive engagement, harm reduction, and peer support best practices to engage members and promote a safe and inclusive recovery environment.
Skills / Requirements- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license in good standing.
- Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record.
- Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or ability to obtain CPSS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Additional addiction and substance use disorders certification preferred.
- Fingerprint card required.
