Interim Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will support day‑to‑day payables operations in a fast‑paced environment, managing high‑volume processing, resolving discrepancies, and partnering with internal teams and vendors to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Process high‑volume invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Perform 3‑way matching (PO, invoice, receipt) and resolve discrepancies independently
• Communicate with vendors to research and resolve billing issues
• Support weekly payment runs (check, ACH, wire) and ensure proper approvals
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain clean, up‑to‑date accounts
• Assist with month‑end close activities related to AP
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely follow‑up on open items

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high‑volume environment
• Strong understanding of full‑cycle AP processes
• Experience working in an ERP system (any major platform; able to learn quickly)
• Proficiency in Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently while staying aligned with the team
