Clark Wood is working with a leading accountancy practice who are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team based in Durham.

This is a great opportunity to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of audit clients, lead assignments from planning through to completion and support the development of junior team members.

• Manage statutory audits from planning through to completion.
• Lead on-site audit teams and act as a key client contact.
• Review work and support junior members of the team.
• Work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality audits.
• Use digital audit tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Attend client sites across the North East and Yorkshire.

• ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Strong audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
• Confident leading audit assignments and managing deadlines.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Good IT skills, including Excel and audit software.
• Able to travel to client sites when required.
