Role
Purpose:
The Family Office Operations Manager will serve as a key right-hand to the Director of Family Office Operations by providing operational, administrative, and coordination support across Strickland Legacy Group (SLG) and related entities. The role is designed to create leverage through strong execution, documentation, process management, and day to day operational support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, resourceful, and thrives in an environment that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on follow-through.
This position is primarily in-office.
Reports Directly To: Taylor Boles, Director of Family Office Operations
Core Responsibilities:
Office and Operations Management
- Support day-to-day operations across Strickland Legacy Group
- Manage ongoing relationships with external vendors including, but not limited to: insurance agents, benefits administrators, technology support partners, and office service partners
- Own ongoing office operations, logistics, and workplace readiness
- Promptly greet guests, employees, and visitors with a professional and welcoming demeanor
- Maintain the structure, ongoing maintenance and organization of shared drives, files, and internal systems
People and HR Infrastructure
- Assist in maintaining the employee handbook and benefits guide
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Coordinate payroll, benefits administration, and HR related vendors
- Maintain employee records and compliance documentation
- Help standardize HR related processes, workflows, and documentation
- Upload and organize invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation
- Track accounts receivable and payable
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation for expenses, reimbursements, and payments
- Maintain clean, well-organized financial records and supporting files
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Coordinate basic bookkeeping tasks with external accountants or bookkeepers as needed
- Support annual compliance workflows and filings across SLG entities including, but not limited to: annual reports, 1099 preparation and support
Executive Operations Support
- Coordinate travel bookings for the leadership related to SLG and Strickland Brothers activities
- Manage scheduling and meeting logistics as directed
- Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-ups for key meetings
- Maintain calendar discipline aligned with stated priorities
Reporting and Coordination
- Assist in compiling executive summaries and reporting across business lines
- Track action items and follow through on deliverables
- Support governance cadence and meeting rhythms
- Serve as a coordination point across internal team members and external partners
Qualifications & Background
- 3-5+ years of experience in one or more of the following roles:
- Operations Manager
- A background in hospitality, private equity or a Family Office role is strongly preferred
- Strong Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office
- Shared Drives and documentation systems
- Calendar and scheduling tools
- Project tracking tools (Notion, Asana, etc.)
