About the RoleWe’re looking for a motivated
Project Manager Trainee
who’s eager to launch a career in the mechanical contracting industry. This is an entry-level, hands-on learning opportunity designed to teach the fundamentals of project management through real-world experience. You’ll be
paired directly with one of our seasoned Project Managers
to learn the ropes - from estimating and purchasing to scheduling, budgeting, and client relations.
- Support Project Managers in day-to-day coordination and project tracking.
- Assist with purchasing materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Help monitor job progress, budgets, and deadlines.
- Prepare and update project reports, change orders, and billing documents.
- Attend project meetings and assist with documentation, notes, and follow-ups.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and field teams to maintain alignment.
- Learn to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Build a working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Strong interest in HVAC, plumbing, or construction project management.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort using Excel, Outlook, and project management tools.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 year's experience in project management/the mechanical contracting industry.
