U Pullit Cashier​/Production worker

Foss U Pull It is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Cashier (Counter Sales) to join our team.

The Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions, maintaining accurate cash drawers and records, assisting customers, answering incoming phone calls, and supporting the daily operation of the U Pull It office and sales counter.

The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable handling cash and customer transactions, and committed to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Process customer transactions and accurately collect payments.

Maintain assigned cash drawers and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.

Balance cash drawers and report any overages or shortages according to company procedures.

Prepare required daily reports and assist with preparing deposits.

Provide customers with accurate information regarding company policies, services, pricing, and yard procedures.

Answer incoming telephone calls and direct calls or messages appropriately.

Maintain awareness of available vehicle inventory to assist with customer inquiries.

Assist customers with general questions regarding vehicles and the self-service parts yard.

Maintain accurate transaction and customer records as required.

Perform basic computer and data-entry tasks using company systems and software.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter, office, and customer entrance area.

Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.

Report transaction discrepancies, customer concerns, or other issues to management.

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering designated operational areas.

Follow all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and operational guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous cash-handling, cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.

Basic computer and data-entry skills.

Ability to learn and effectively use company point-of-sale and business systems.

Basic mathematical skills and ability to accurately process customer transactions.

Ability to use hands and arms for cash handling, computer use, paperwork, and other repetitive tasks.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers throughout the workday.

Work is primarily performed in a customer service and office environment but may occasionally require entering the self-service automotive yard or other operational areas.

Operational environments may include exposure to noise, dust, dirt, moving vehicles, heavy equipment, automotive materials, and varying weather conditions.

Must maintain awareness of surroundings when entering operational areas.

Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in designated operational areas.

Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
