Position Overview
Riddle Tractor is seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Bilingual Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling our dealership.
This position is responsible for greeting customers, answering and routing incoming phone calls, directing customers to the appropriate department, and providing general front-office and administrative support.
Because this position will frequently assist Spanish-speaking customers,
fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, dependable, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of customers, employees, vendors, and manufacturer representatives.
Primary Responsibilities- Greet customers promptly and professionally as they enter the dealership.
- Determine the purpose of each customer’s visit and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Route calls accurately to sales, parts, service, accounting, or management.
- Assist Spanish-speaking customers with basic communication and help connect them with the appropriate employee or department.
- Serve as a bilingual communication resource when needed for sales, parts, and service interactions.
- Take accurate messages when employees are unavailable.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Assist with outgoing mail and shipping as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and customer waiting area.
- Assist customers who are waiting for sales, parts, or service employees.
- Provide basic information regarding dealership hours, departments, and services.
- Maintain customer-facing literature and informational materials.
- Assist with basic data entry, filing, scanning, and document organization.
- Support the Business Office with administrative projects during slower customer‑traffic periods.
- Help maintain accurate customer contact information when appropriate.
- Perform other reasonable front‑office and administrative duties as assigned.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position.
Candidates must be able to communicate comfortably and professionally with customers in both languages.
The position may occasionally assist employees with basic interpretation between Spanish‑speaking customers and the sales, parts, or service departments.
The receptionist is not expected to provide technical, legal, or financial interpretation beyond normal customer‑service communication.
Qualifications Required- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Professional and friendly customer‑service skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to answer and manage multiple telephone lines.
- Comfortable interacting with customers in person and by phone.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to learn dealership systems and procedures.
- Ability to handle interruptions while remaining organized.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when exposed to customer or company information.
- Previous receptionist, front‑office, retail, customer‑service, or administrative experience.
- Experience working in a dealership, automotive, equipment, retail, service, or similar customer‑facing environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office or similar business software.
- Previous experience handling multi‑line phone systems.
Previous dealership experience is not required
