Landscape Architect

A land planning and design firm in the Winston-Salem area is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to help lead design efforts across a variety of site and land development projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through completion while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Landscape Architect Responsibilities:

- Lead landscape design projects from initial concept through final implementation, coordinating closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop site plans, layouts, and planting plans for a range of project types, including parks, commercial developments, and residential communities
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including grading plans, planting plans, and technical specifications
- Conduct site visits to assess topography, vegetation, and drainage, informing design decisions and project feasibility
- Present design concepts to clients, municipal agencies, and other stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine final designs
- Provide technical and design mentorship to junior team members
- Support business development through proposal writing, presentation materials, and client relationship building
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations
- Participate in construction site visits and field observations to help ensure design intent is carried through construction Landscape Architect Requirements:

- 5+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture or a related design field - RLA (Registered Landscape Architect) license strongly preferred or ability to obtain in the future
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, LandFX, and Adobe Creative Suite, along with Sketch Up or similar 3D tools
