Although there is a high level of cross site collaboration, both sites operate independently for patient care including rounding and call coverage and providers cover just one site. The planned rounding and call schedule is 1:4 with the APPs taking 1st call. Excellent support from the pathology department with two certified hematopathologists, blood bank, radiology, intensive care and other specialist services.

Development of a similar State-of the-Art outpatient Cellular Therapy and Apheresis Unit in Winston-Salem has been approved and construction will start soon. We value clinical research and significant investment has been made to bolster services including the development of dedicated phase 1 units at both the Winston-Salem and Charlotte sites.Responsibilities
& Duties Patient population 18+ Coordinate all aspects of stem cell transplant and CAR-T/TIL therapy for the Cancer Institute. Coordinate with the system wide multi-disciplinary team in the development of treatment algorithms and trial opportunities for patients needing autologous or allogeneic stem cell transplantationQualifications Experience in the management of patients with acute leukemia and allogeneic transplant will be the focus of this role.
Board-certified/eligible in Hematology/Oncology Experience in hematopoietic cell transplantation and CART cell therapy. 3 years of experience post-fellowship preferred but not mandatory for this position, with a strong focus on patient care and optimizing outcomes through a carefully curated clinical trial portfolio.
