Responsibilities and Position Summary
  • Position Summary Teach core courses in interdisciplinary undergraduate major and Master of Public Policy (MPP) program. Teach six courses per academic year (3 courses per semester) including some combination of courses in public policy analysis, the politics of public policy, global policy issues, microeconomic foundations of public policy, and research methods. The faculty member also has the opportunity to teach a first-year seminar or elective in their area of expertise.

    In addition to classroom teaching, Teaching Assistant Professors advise and mentor students and actively contribute to the work and mission of the department.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Ph.D. in public policy or a related social science discipline.
  • Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Teaching experience and a desire to train and work with a large body of students.
