• Teach core Therapeutic Recreation courses in classroom and local settings.
• Develop syllabus, learning outcomes, activities, and assessments aligned with standards.
• Use educational platforms (Canvas) and technology effectively.
• Collaborate with department faculty on program assessment.
• Engage students in local resources for practicum experiences.

• Minimum master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Current recreation therapy license in North Carolina.
• College‑level teaching experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to a liberal arts, diverse educational environment.
• Understanding of local community resources for practicum.
• Knowledge of recreation therapy practice in North Carolina.

Time‑limited appointment (4‑10 months). Salary commensurate with education and experience. Background check required.
