Position Summary - Are you passionate about event planning and training? Join our team as a University Events and Assessment Training Specialist! In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing our university's event management capabilities. You'll design and deliver training programs, coordinate major events, and assess their impact—all while ensuring alignment with our institution's strategic goals, thereby contributing significantly to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Development:
Create and deliver training programs, workshops, and resources for faculty, staff, and student organizations. - Event Planning & Coordination:
Help organize university events, manage logistics, and collaborate with internal and external partners. - Assessment & Evaluation:
Develop tools to evaluate event success and provide actionable insights for improvement. - Marketing & Communication:
Promote events through strategic marketing and manage attendee communications. - Administrative Support:
Maintain records, track budgets, and support policy development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in event planning, training, or related areas.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in event management software.
Salary: $25.00 an hour
