The Department of Exercise Physiology seeks applicants to teach undergraduate courses in the School of Health Sciences for the  academic year.

Master’s degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, health education, nutrition or health-related discipline and two years of related teaching or experience at the university level; or equivalent combination of teaching, training and experience

This position requires a clear communicator; able to show confidence teaching and presenting to an undergraduate class. Must be technologically savvy with the ability to utilize email, e-learning and different online learning systems and other ways to communicate with students

Describe the specific job duties related to this competency

Responsibilities include teaching (in person) undergraduates; developing and managing the class syllabus and ensuring that the syllabus meets department and university standards; planning and creating lectures, in-class discussions and assignments; grading assigned papers, quizzes and exams; assessing grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments and examinations; collaborating with colleagues on course curriculum; and advising students on how to be successful in class
