WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY. The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Economics, effective July 1, 2027.

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, or a related field; ABD candidates will also be considered. Qualified applicants will demonstrate their ability to teach undergraduate courses, initiate and sustain original research and scholarship in financial economics or related fields, and contribute to an academic environment that fosters learning and growth for all its stakeholders.

This individual will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in financial economics and related areas; the ability to teach courses such as household finance, macro-finance, or personal finance will be especially valued. The successful candidate will also engage in scholarly activities; participate in departmental, College, and University service; and contribute to the University’s community outreach efforts.
