Responsibilities
  • Perform designated electronic technical duties to ensure system performance.
  • Provide direct support for Controls Engineering functions (OT-Operations Technology) in manufacturing processes.
  • Perform daily engagement/troubleshooting with end-to-end systems, including machine controls, SCADA, and interfaces with upper-level systems (MES and SAP).
  • Conduct equipment installations and system development/troubleshooting as required to align to current standards.
  • Investigate connectivity issues to diagnose and resolve network connection problems.
  • Assist in maintaining program/PLC backups for devices to ensure data integrity and recovery readiness.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other PLC systems.
  • Support and troubleshoot Profibus, Control Net, and Ethernet data communication systems.
  • Work cross functional areas to support as needed (SMD and PMD RJRT, MO and TO ASC).
  • Willing to work on various shifts and weekends as required.
  • Participate in training sessions and consistently pursue self‑motivated skill development.

Experience Required

Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Limited proficiency knowledge of PLC’s, SCADA, HMIs, and related equipment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in installing and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
  • Limited proficiency in collaborating with contractors.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
  • Demonstrates self‑motivation, personal leadership, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability and commitment to drive change and improvements.
  • Strong desire to learn, understand and apply technologies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
  • AAS Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology or related field and a minimum of three years as a E&I Technician.
Beneficial
  • Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting MES issues.
  • Experience in programming and troubleshooting Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Beckhoff PLCs.
