- Knowledge and experience of CMM programming using touch and scanning probes with PC DMIS for parts and assemblies with complex features and tight tolerances.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, planning, and executing inspection methodology and plans for new product families.
- Provides leadership in identifying, promoting, and developing new technical part inspection capabilities.
- Leads team in part inspection plan decision making based on technical expertise.
- Analyzes product specifications and clarifies product requirements and manufacturing aspects with accountable Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production Operations.
- Conducts improvements projects on site, and liaises with other engineering functions, external vendors, or service providers.
- Broad knowledge of industry standards.
- Demonstrated effective communications, both orally and in writing.
- 2-4 year degree in related Engineering discipline.
- 2+ years relevant and proven CMM programmer.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
- Experienced in interpretation of product and manufacturing drawings and specifications to ASME and ISO code GD&T requirements.
- Advanced level experience using PC DMIS CMM programming language.
- Demonstrated experience in performing manual part measurements associated with CMM program prove-out.
- Experience in user calibration of CMMs to ISO standards.
- Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of calibration, maintenance, and repair of CMM equipment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of power generation and/or aerospace airfoil component manufacturing and inspection.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems and product data management systems, preferably Siemens NX, Siemens Teamcenter.
$35.00 to $38.00/hr
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
