Job DescriptionMust Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Heavy Engineering Product exposure
- Exposure to forging, casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication and standard hardware
- Good understanding about material standards, AWS welding standards and reading the complex engineering prints.
- Good exposure to sheet metal design and manufacturing aspects, GDT, design for manufacturing concepts
- Suppliers Primary Evaluations
- PCPA audits
- APQP Implementation
- Risk assessment and mitigation plan signoff
- Design review
- Tool Kick off
- Tool Development Tracking
- Fixtures / gauges / Tools readiness review / execution
- Tool Trails, As T0, T1, T2 and T3
- Parts Fitments Report & Corrective Actions
- Approval For Fit & Functions
- ECN /FETE implementations
- Testing & Validations
- Safe Launch
- PSW Sign-off
- Smooth SOP + Ramp up
- Final Development Handover
- Supplier Performance Enhancement Excellence in Delivery
- Around 30 to 40% travel to various suppliers location
- Work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to gather all the functional requirements, design & material requirements, and ensure the quality of the deliveries from the suppliers.
