Manufacturing Engineer
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to maintenance of the bill of materials and all required engineering change documents. This position will utilize your knowledge and experience regarding manufacturing and assembly methods, ERP, and PDM systems in direct support of operations personnel. As an ME, you will be contributing to our customers' assembly of seating and related components.
Function
Description:
- Contributes to successful project completion by participating in the resolution of issues such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard material, and complex coordination requirements.
- Reviews project-related documentation to ensure its accuracy.
- Coordinates project activities with other operating or engineering units to facilitate the participation of appropriate staff in project completion.
- Participates in professional organizations to maintain current knowledge of technical innovations.
- Assists in determining project objectives to contribute to the development of a comprehensive project design.
- Creating new or revised processes for design and development.
- Plans, designs, and executes activities that are directly related to the physical creation of the company's products and the functional operation.
- Reviews field support requirements and recommends tools and test equipment. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
- Make recommendations concerning the acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials.
- Maintain large Bills of Materials (BOM’s) in the ERP system. This includes Material Masters, BOM’s, routes, and other related production data as needed.
- Other Activities as required.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university and minimum of 1-year related experience OR Associate’s Degree (A.S.) In the absence of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required - Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
