Job Description

As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative evaluations of credit applications, determining creditworthiness, and recommending approval or denial of credit lines. You will analyze financial statements, assess collateral, and utilize tools such as D&B, and advanced Excel to develop predictive models and monitor credit risk. The role involves managing third-party collections, bankruptcy processes, and escheatment, as well as maintaining accurate credit data and supporting internal audits.

You will also play a key role in training new team members and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer financial data to authorize credit lines and minimize risk.
  • Develop and maintain credit models to forecast trends and assess risk.
  • Oversee third-party collections, bankruptcy, and escheatment processes.
  • Perform regular audits and updates of customer accounts in SAP.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve credit issues.
  • Support audit activities and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide training and mentorship to credit team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in credit and collections
  • Experience in financial statement review and analysis
  • Experience with D&B and related systems.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
