As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative evaluations of credit applications, determining creditworthiness, and recommending approval or denial of credit lines. You will analyze financial statements, assess collateral, and utilize tools such as D&B, and advanced Excel to develop predictive models and monitor credit risk. The role involves managing third-party collections, bankruptcy processes, and escheatment, as well as maintaining accurate credit data and supporting internal audits.
You will also play a key role in training new team members and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze customer financial data to authorize credit lines and minimize risk.
- Develop and maintain credit models to forecast trends and assess risk.
- Oversee third-party collections, bankruptcy, and escheatment processes.
- Perform regular audits and updates of customer accounts in SAP.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve credit issues.
- Support audit activities and ensure data integrity.
- Provide training and mentorship to credit team members.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in credit and collections
- Experience in financial statement review and analysis
- Experience with D&B and related systems.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
