Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY – the global leader in opening solutions, is hiring an experienced senior credit portfolio analyst to analyze credit data and determine credit worthiness and risk, as well as conducting collections-related activities. This position manages a portfolio of 500 distribution center customers in the US and Canada.

In this position you will:

  • Be responsible for making collection and credit decisions in larger distribution centers, as well as “special” high volume accounts as assigned.
  • Collect account balances according to terms.
  • Maintain accurate credit posting updates and messages electronically.
  • Guide field team through credit sales and risk management assessment.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Communicate vital pattern change information regarding unusual customer activity.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Two-year college degree or equivalent experience in credit, collections, and accounting field.
  • Two years’ experience with collections.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vLookup.
  • ERP experience required (JDE preferred).
  • Business aptitude and ability to analyze financial statements.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
