Licensed Mental Health Counselor

We are hiring fully licensed clinicians for our newest office in Winston-Salem, NC!

Sunglow Counseling is a mental health private practice focused on the well-being and promotion of healing with each client and family we serve. Our Winston‑Salem location has the capacity for in‑person sessions and telehealth services.

• Experience with children, adolescents, and adults
• Experience with individual, family and group counseling
• Culturally‑competent and non‑discriminatory
• Independently Licensed in the state of North Carolina
• 3 years of clinical experience
• Specialized trainings or certifications in emotionally‑focused therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems, and play therapy. Experience a plus. Multilingual also a plus.

Sunglow Counseling operates as an in‑network provider for multiple major insurance and national EAP providers, while also accepting private pay and sliding scale options. For those candidates looking to join our team, we would facilitate the process of becoming a credentialed, in‑network provider as well as assisting with maintaining those credentials.

• Provide psychotherapy services and associated minor administrative duties as are reasonably necessary in conjunction with the admin team.
• Must be competent in practicing evidence‑based theories and modalities.
• Maintain proof of license with the state of North Carolina and possess liability insurance.
• Advise and collaborate with the practice team on client care and referral.
