Clinic Administrator III
Position:
Clinic Administrator III
Location:
Neurology and Sleep, Winston-Salem, NC
Employment Type:
Full Time, Monday-Friday
- This is an experienced level practice management position with a high level of complexity.
- Manages, supervises and coordinates all functions and activities related to the operations of physician practices.
- Coordinate complex management responsibility (i.e., billing and collecting), and/or special projects, (i.e. practice start up), as directed by Administration.
- Practice scope is complex for number of providers, staff and revenue with a larger geographical area and possible practices in 2 or more locations.
- Facilitate monthly provider and staff meetings, oversee clinic committees, operational safety, and human innovation initiatives.
- Collaborate with neurosciences’ centralized referral team, maintaining updated clinic scheduling handbooks.
- Participates in community outreach events strategically focused on marketing clinic services. Work with supervising physicians on APP recruitment and onboarding training calendars.
- Education:
Must meet one of the following:
Four year Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree with four years of relevant professional experience; or eight years of relevant professional experience. - Experience:
Five years of leadership experience with two-plus years of practice manager experience. - Additional Skills (required):
Knowledge of health care administration and clinic philosophy and policies and operating procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management systems and techniques. Knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff development. Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision making. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and develops and maintains skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports. Ability to monitor quality control standards. Ability to communicate clearly.
