Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, biopsies, and drain insertions
Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and radiographic imaging equipment
Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort
Monitor patients during procedures and assist with post-procedure care
Maintain sterile technique and follow hospital safety protocols
Accurately document procedures and patient data
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Active ARRT certification in Radiography; IR certification preferred
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience
Proficient in vascular access, sterile procedures, and radiology equipment
Strong communication, technical, and critical thinking skills
